What holder should I use for the Capillary electrophoresis (CE) chips?
For EOF holder Chips: No interfacing solution availble
For MCE Chips: Edaq has a platfrom available
See "Read More" for details.
Is there page with more details on Microchip Electrophoresis with C4D?
Yes there is!
See "More details" for a link to a Wiki Page.
The chips contains Electrodes: are this on-chip CE electrodes?
No, the chip only contains electrodes for contact conductivity detection.
The electrodes for CE are part of the holder.
What is C4D and how does it work?
C4D is an abbreviation for Capacitively-Coupled Contactless Conductivity Detection, it uses a transmitter electrode to subject a sample region to a large amplitude, high frequency electromagnetic signal. A corresponding, attenuated, AC signal registers at a receiver electrode. See "Read More" for details.
Where are the C4D electrodes located?
The electrodes for C4D are located on the top surface of the chip, where also the inlet holes are located. There’s no direct liquid contact. The glass thickness between the electrodes and the channel is about 100 µm.
See "Read More" for details.
