Why is the amount on my credit card statement different as the order amount?
Credit card companies usually charge fees to both the seller and the buyer. As a buyer, you may notice this as a difference between the order amount and the amount shown on your credit card statement, even if the order was in the same currency as your card. These fees typically consist of a small fixed charge and/or a percentage-based surcharge.
Also difference in exchange rates can be part of the costs.
These surcharges result from the agreement between you and your bank or credit card company and are beyond our control. Often, the original transaction amount is shown in the transaction details. In our experience, financial administrations typically accept these normal differences when a copy of the credit card statement is included with the declaration. Since these costs are not received by Micronit, we cannot adjust invoices to cover them.
