Are there alternatives to a chip holder?

The followign alternatives for buying a chipholder exists, but are not recommended:

•  IDEX Health & Science offers NanoPort connectors, which can be glued or taped to a chip. However:
  – In most cases, the chip layout does not provide enough space to accommodate these ports.
  – No standard bonding agents are included.
  – Applying glue around the inlets is difficult and carries a high risk of damaging the chip.

• It is also possible to design your own interface. We recommend using our ferrules as a starting point and application of ~20% compression on the ferrules.
